In October 2024, I was diagnosed with Anal Cancer. I mean, seriously who even knew you could get cancer up your butt?

I was practically born clapping — a happy, confident, life-loving extrovert. And while my life has been full of adventure and laughter, it’s also been one hell of a ride.

I loved my job, my team, the travel, the beautiful renovation project my husband and I were tackling in Ely. Life looked perfect on the outside — but beneath the surface, cracks were starting to show. (And not just in the plasterwork!)

By 45, the hangovers hit harder. By 47, I was the heaviest I'd ever been, my stress was sky-high, and my energy was rock-bottom. One October day, everything broke. Signed off work with exhaustion, antidepressants in one hand and a Google search for "WTF is perimenopause" in the other, I barely recognised myself.

Anxiety — something I'd never known — swallowed me whole. I was even too scared to walk my beloved dogs.

Giving up alcohol was my first turning point. Focusing on self-care — rather than self-blame — became my second.

And yet... two years later, after a pandemic, a failed move to Italy, and another renovation project, I hit rock bottom again. A friend staged a loving intervention: "You need HRT."

I listened. I went private. And within weeks — the fog started to lift.

That’s when it clicked: No woman should have to battle menopause blindfolded and alone.

So I went all in. Not a two-week online course, but a Level 5 Diploma to become a Menopause Wellness Coach — because helping women to thrive is my calling.

And just when I thought I was finding my new path... In October 2024, life threw me another curveball: Anal cancer. (FYI: Yes, you can get cancer up your butt. And yes, "Barbie butt" is a real thing.)

28 rounds of chemoradiation later, here I am — waiting to hear if I've kicked cancer’s ass (literally), armed with even more resilience, perspective, and a bigger lust for life than ever before.

Why I’m Here

I know overwhelm. I know fear. I know what it feels like to lose your sparkle — and the grit it takes to get it back.

That’s why I created my #TweakAWeek approach: Small, sustainable changes that add up to big, meaningful improvements in your health, happiness, and self-worth.

I’m not a counsellor. I don’t give medical advice. What I offer is real-world coaching, lived experience, expert training, and an attitude that’s positively infectious.

Whether you’re navigating perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause, you don’t have to do it alone.

Let's work together — and help you thrive one tweak at a time.

💖 Lots of love
